SPECIFICATIONS

FEATURES & BENEFITS
  • Size: 2" - 12" Wafer (340) and Lug (342) design
  • Pressure Rating: Full cut disc 175 psi, lug bodies for dead end service 150psi, Under cut disc 50 psi
  • Temperature Range: Dependent on materials
  • Operator Options:
    5 and 10 position handles
    Gear operator
    Electric or Pneumatic Actuators
  • Disc is coating with Nylon 11 (USDA approved)
  • Engineered for higher Cv ratings than other nylon coated disc butterfly valves
  • All valves tested to 110% of full pressure.

MATERIALS
  • Body - Lug style has drilled and tapped lugs meeting ANSI 125/150 flange standards. Two-piece body allows ease of seat replacement. Lug body standard with Ductile Iron. Wafer body standard with Ductile Iron also available in Aluminum.
  • Top Plate Standard ISO 5211 - accommodates all types of actuators; handles, gear operators, electric and pneumatic actuators.
  • Disc/Stem - 17-4 PH stainless steel two-piece stem allows for thin profile disc. Disc is coated with Nylon 11, a vegetable based thermoplastic which is USDA approved and resistant to fungus growth and molds. It is corrosion resistant yet maintains a durable surface and low friction coefficient. Adverse testing conditions reveals no corrosion to underlying metal surfaces.
  • Stem-Seal - A third seal ensuring absolute seal externally or internally for vacuum or pressure service. Matches seat material: Nitrile, EPDM, or Viton®.
  • Stem Bushing - Composed of full strength, corrosion resistant ertalyte, stem bushings absorb operator side thrust. Top bushing comes standard in all valves.
  • Bottom Stem Bushing: Oil impregnated bronze busing for less torque and longer valve life.
  • Seat - Food grade seats of EPDM and Nitrile (black and white). Other seats in silicone and Viton®.
  • Hub Seal or Primary Seal - Occurs when contact is made between the disc hub and the flat surface of the seat. Hub/seat seals prevent product from attacking stem or body.
  • Flange Seal - Sealing O-Ring of resilient seat which provides an absolute seal to all flanges within specifications. No other gaskets required.
