Stile-Craft Manufacturing Company is founded by three brothers of the Sciuto family, hard working, self-educated sons of naturalized immigrants from a predominately Italian neighborhood called "The Hill", in St. Louis, Missouri. They immediately begin their venture in the manufacture and sale of aluminum Venetian blinds in a garage owned by one of the brothers, Carl.
Stile-Craft quickly outgrows Carl's garage and builds a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The aluminum blind business is strong.
Stile-Craft through continued growth invests in several multi-spindle automatic screw machines and several custom built machines in order to begin production of a number of metal parts and custom machined components.
Stile-Craft is awarded contracts to produce a number of machined metal parts for the war effort. During this time Stile-Craft once again outgrows its walls and completes construction of a new facility, doubling production capacity.
Stile-Craft exits the Venetian blind business to concentrate solely on machining and marketing turned metal parts and related products.
Again Stile-Craft is called upon to produce high quality parts for the war effort, this time for the Korea war. Tailfin assemblies for 80mm mortar shells were a primary product during these years.
Begins the design and manufacture of industrial and medical quick-connect couplers. Products designed to connect and control compressed gasses become the focus of Stile-Craft's product lines.

Ball valves for general industrial and commercial applications are added to the fluid controls product offering. The DynaQuip brand name is introduced creating a homogeneous fluid controls product family.
First DynaQuip valve automation products are introduced in the form of pneumatically actuated ball valves primarily for industrial applications. Rod Bryan is hired into the customer service department.
Stile-Craft begins manufacturing air compressor accessories under the Craftsman brand name for Sears, Roebuck & Company, the world's largest retail store at the time.
Stile-Craft begins producing zone control valve systems for use on hospital and health center medical gas distribution systems.
Pioneers the Safety Exhaust Quick Coupler named Dyna-Con and later renamed the Safety-Vent 2000 and receives U.S. patent for the first safety-exhaust coupler design. The very same year we introduce the first Safety-Exhaust Lockout Ball Valve for use on industrial compressed air systems. OSHA later passes a regulation mandating the application of de-energizing and lockout devices.
Chemetron Corporation acquires privately held Stile-Craft Manufacturing Company from company founder Carl Sciuto.
Current DynaQuip Owner, Rod Bryan, Sales Manager, assumes the role of President of the Chemetron Fluid Controls Division after the untimely death of founder Carl Sciuto.
Chemetron Corporation is acquired by Allegheny Ludlum Corporation. Allegheny immediately begins to seek buyers for the industrial Fluid Controls Division and DynaQuip brand.

Rod Bryan and a financial partner purchase the assets and operations of the industrial Fluid Controls Division and all DynaQuip brands from Allegheny Ludlum in a leveraged buy-out. The new entity, called DynaQuip Controls, moves to a new facility in Fenton, Missouri.
DynaQuip Controls continues to grow it's presence in the fluid power and flow controls industries through development and adoption of new products. Receives patent for Quick-Change Blow Gun.
DynaQuip introduces the "no maintenance" DrainMaster automatic condensate drain valve for compressed air systems. DrainMaster is designed to alleviate the problem of orifice clogging common to the more restrictive solenoid type devices.
Valve automation takes a new turn as DynaQuip pioneers the first "direct-mount" ball valve automation products. The "DynaMatic" series automated ball valves are the first compact, pre-packaged, off-the-shelf ball valve solutions available to general industrial and light commercial markets.
Having again outgrown its Fenton facility DynaQuip relocates to an all new 90,000 square foot manufacturing and office building in St. Clair Missouri, about fifty miles southwest of St. Louis.
DynaQuip adds a line of high quality butterfly valves to enhance its quarter-turn valve offering while at the same time adding several new automated ball valve products. Sales for the year reach a company record.
WaterCop Emergency Water Shut-Off System conceived and developed. Many components are borrowed from existing DynaQuip industrial valve automation products. Total development time was just eight months to first production unit.
WaterCop receives U.S. patent. Initial WaterCop unit sales follow a promising product introduction at the International Builder's Show in Dallas, TX. WaterCop approved and listed by UL.

WaterCop complies with Uniform Plumbing Code, receives approval from IAPMO. DynaQuip embarks on a bold long-term plan to produce some of the finest and most value packed valve automation products available to industrial and light commercial markets. An informal corporate transition begins to be felt.
Valve automation lines continue to show promising growth and strong margins even through the prolonged industrial recession. DynaQuip holds nearly 7% of the 2" and under, quarter-turn valve automation market.
A five year Marketing and Strategic plan is crafted charting the formal transition to become a singularly focused manufacturer and marketer of electromechanical valve automation and rotary actuation control systems. Primary emphasis becomes electric actuators and valve automation products. Pre-packaged, off-the shelf solutions such as DynaMatic, WaterCop and DrainMaster play a larger role in the growth of the automated valve product lines.
Two new series of electric actuators debut. DynaQuip now offers electric actuators ranging from 100 inch pounds of output torque to over 30,000 inch pounds of torque. The 2nd generation WaterCop systems are slated for introduction later in the year in addition to several new automated industrial valve product offerings.
DynaQuip divests Quick Coupler and Air Compressor Accessory products lines to further invest in core valve automation efforts
Light –Duty Electrically Automated valves are introduced. These low pressure, 1/2” through 1 ¼” valves answer the OEM call with multiple voltages, live feedback and manual override.
WaterCopPRO debuts. This next generation WaterCop system offers improved security interface and awareness monitoring.
DynaQuip Controls earns the distinguished “Partners in Performance Award” from W.W. Grainger. This award is reserved for the top 25 of Grainger’s 3000+ suppliers (less than 1%) who demonstrate operational excellence. This is DynaQuip’s 3rd award of excellence
The WaterCop family of products continues to grow with the additions of LeakStop, LeakStop PLUS, WaterCopPRO Outdoor and WaterCop Z-wave. The robust WaterCop group of products are recognized as industry leaders and trusted to provide peace of mind for homeowners and businesses.
Manual and Automated Lead-Free valves are introduced to accommodate the sweeping 2014 mandate for potable water delivery devices. DynaQuip launches new website design with increased functionality and user-driven content.
